1. Cooking Classes for Domestic Helpers
3h00 hands-on cooking class: small groups of 2 to 4 domestic helpers prepare a 3 course meal. All our recipes are basic French and Western family meals, sometimes with an Asian touch, and always easy to prepare with standard local products. Students get their own personal recipe book. Each class ends with a lunch where students taste and enjoy the dishes that they have prepared.

2. Workplace Safety and Hygiene Workshop
2h00 class conducted by a medical doctor (Anne Genetet, director of the H.E.L.P. agency). Domestic Helpers will learn essential western hygiene standards. The topics covered are basic knowledge about germs, hand hygiene, food and respiratory safety and solutions to improve safety and hygiene of the workplace (lifting, carrying, avoiding infectious diseases, etc).
3. Women's Health Workshop
1h00 class conducted by a medical doctor. It is preferably an individual meeting to respect the confidentiality of the personal problems that the domestic helper may have. The topics covered are women's physiology, simple gynecological pathology, sexually transmitted diseases, birth control technics. A strong focus is made on the dangers of buying medicine on the black market and the diffculties of having an abortion in Singapore. This class is designed for domestic helpers who have a partner in Singapore. The responsibilities of the employer are such that it's advisable to make the domestic helper well aware of feminine issues.
4. Hygiene and First Aid for Kids Workshop
2h00 class conducted by a medical doctor with ER and pediatric experience (Anne Genetet, director of the H.E.L.P. agency). First part explains fundamentals about hygiene for child caregivers. Second part is dedicated to standard medical procedures in specific situations (fever, fall, head trauma, bruise, contusion, bleeding, diaorhea, vomitting, choke, sudden rash, etc). Hand-outs are provided to all students. We can also advise on First aid and CPR certificate courses.
5. Childcare Workshop (unavailable at the moment - Recruitment of a childminder expert on going)
2h30 class with a child educator and trainer from Europe who will teach groups of Domestic Helpers European standards on child management and education through games and various activities. Children age 18 months to 3 years old are welcome to attend with their « Nanny ». It is also for the youngest, an opportunity to socialize with other children in a safe and controlled environment.
