"Get Started" Solution

How to work out successfully the first recruitment

of a domestic helper?

Why should we help?

> Because the law puts huge responsibilities on the employer's shoulders;

> Because most domestic helpers have behaviors that are quite hard to understand;

> Because the lines between practices, recommendations and law are blur.

AND

> Because we explain how to hire directly without any intermediary;

> Because we clarify the legal context in Singapore which is very specific;

> Because we provide a clear and transparent information;

Good to know: An arrangement with a ‘live-in maid’* can collapse shortly after she is hired, mostly because of misunderstandings. The  huge cultural gap and expectations that are totally different put distance between the helper and the employer, sometimes leading to opposite points of view.

.

Who can we help?

> You have been newly relocated to Singapore and you have heard how valuable a live-in-maid can be;

> Or  you have no experience in managing a live-in domestic helper (maid);

> Or you wish to hire directly without any intermediary;

> Or English is not your mother tongue and you are not so confident that you can fully understand what an agent, an employer or a candidate tells you;

> Or you want to have a comprehensive understanding of all legal aspects of your rights and responsibilities.

* A live-in-maid is a full time domestic helper, residing at her employer's house. She is also called "Foreign Domestic Helper" by administrative authority such as the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore. "Maid" is pejorative ; "Helper" or "Domestic Helper" should be prefered.
